About Jean Amado : he is a sculptor born in 1922 in Aix-en-Provence. First ceramist, he began to create monumental sculptures in 1950, first in terracotta, then in a material of his own : cerastone.
His works: enamelled panels, bas-reliefs or fountains placed on public squares and other monuments like in Algiers, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Evry, Valenton or Aix-en-Provence.
