Basalt cement
Third phase (1974-1995) : Amado abandons the enamelled coating thus of the cooking. A sculpture is then essentially composed of an agglomerate of basalt sand, molten cement and water, with the addition of metallic oxides ensuring its coloring. The mixture thus mixed, was specially designed to be easily worked by hand, without any casting or molding. Each sculpture is made up of elements nested one inside the other, numbered, as in a closely joined puzzle. The apparent joints of free forms were thought to reinforce the visual nervousness of the work. This process facilitates the assembly, disassembly and transport.
